How much does Pure Cremation cost?
The cost of a Pure Cremation funeral plan depends on how you prefer to pay:
Single payment – If you pay in one go, the cost of a Pure Cremation funeral plan is £1,595. You can also spread your costs over 6 months and you don’t incur any additional fees.
Monthly instalments – If you prefer to spread the cost, you can choose to pay over 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years however you will incur additional fees.
The over 50s plan – With this payment option, you pay a low monthly premium which is based on your age, either for life or until you are 90. You are covered for your services after 24 months however there is a chance you could pay more in monthly premiums than the cost of the service at the time of need.
Which crematorium does Pure Cremation use?
For England and Wales, the crematorium Pure Cremation use is their purpose-built Charlton Park Crematorium in Andover. However, for Scotland, they use the Clyde Valley Crematorium in North Ayrshire and for Northern Ireland, Pure Cremation use the Lakeland crematorium located just south of the border.
How secure is their funeral plan?
If you pay for your Pure Cremation funeral plan with a single payment or by monthly instalments, your money is placed in a secure, independent trust fund. If anything were to happen to the company, the trust fund would remain intact with your funds safely ringfenced, ready to pay for your services.
If you choose the over 50 plan, your money is held in a ‘whole of life’ insurance policy which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
They are also registered with and regulated by the Funeral Planning Authority, so you can be sure they adhere to their rules and strict code or practice.
